Board Games
We have quite the library of games to borrow at five tables dedicated to tabletop gaming. Whether you want to spend hours on a game of Power Grid or twenty minutes with some Connect Four, you can come play with us.
TCGs
We have plenty of space dedicated for playing with the cardboard you got from cracking packs. We have a certified Magic: The Gathering judge on staff, but all TCGs can play here.
Video Games
If you want to play with something more digital than physical, we’ve got that too. Plenty of Nintendo systems to pick from!
Art Jam Table
If gaming isn’t your thing, we also have a table dedicated to more creative endeavors. Bring your own sketchbook and supplies or use some of those provided by us.
General Info
Borrowing games: To borrow a game, go up to either rental table and ask for an available game. You’ll hand your badge to the staffer there, and they’ll give it back when you return the game.
Loaning games: To loan a game to the con, you’re required to arrange it with the games department. You can arrange this before the convention by emailing them at gaming@newanthrodam.com with the name of the game(s), their condition, and your phone number. To loan a game during the convention, reach out to the games department in the Game Room and give them your contact info (email and phone number).
You’re responsible for picking up loaned games before Closing Ceremonies on November 22nd. The games department will hold onto any loaned games that aren’t picked up and reach out to arrange returning them to their owners.
Gaming Space Etiquette
- No food or drinks at the tables.
- Keep your volume manageable.
- Don’t leave a mess on the tables.
